Community members are not better than non-members
Overview
It is common for novel communities to create an internal narrative that they are better than non-members, this creates a cohesion of shared belief among members that can lead to a strong community but creates an us and them mentality between members and outsiders.
Izara Communities have the goal of scaling and embracing more members, showing a better path. Non-members should be viewed with the same respect and kindness as community members.
Until an Izara Community becomes a fully functioning society, it is an experiment in self governance and might not succeed. The beliefs of non-members, or people who wish to leave the community, should not be looked upon as wrong, they are taking another path and our hope is through success we can convince them to try our path as a better alternative.
