Level 8 concept (Very high) - Important concept an Izara Community should strive to implement and maintain

Overview

An Izara Community is not a community that forces people to stay, we wish to create a template for society and the Socratic method guides us to understand the rules implemented might not be the best for all people.

Out of kindness and respect to all members a supportive path to leaving a community should be created, with consideration to the resources the community loses in the process.

In the interest of scaling the community avenues for entry should also be relatively easy, although communities will need to consider the positions required to function effectively and their available resources, higher skilled younger people would often offer more value to a community than aging people, but these decisions must be made by the community.

Exiting

Children

Children who grow of age in the community should be given the freedom to leave if they feel the community does not reflect their values, although resources were spent rearing them it is common for children to feel the need to explore other experiences. An allowance might be given to those that leave.

Re-entry for children could be easier than for others, the community might benefit from their experience and they might value the community more.

Adults

When choosing to leave some conversion of community tokens to host society currency could be performed, or an allowance given. The amount could be relative to the amount of time the person has been productive in the community.

Entry

Existing assets

The number and type of people wanting to enter the community will depend on it's success relative to outside the community, if successful, people with assets outside the community might wish to enter.

A choice must be made how to handle their external assets, in order for a community in it's early stages to attract the skills it needs it might have to allow people to maintain their outside assets. If the community is successful it could create rules where assets transfer to communal ownership, perhaps with tokens given to the entrants.

Selective entry

An early stage community that is focused on farming as a means to become self-sufficient would be more open to receiving low education manual workers. A community focused on professional services or technology would suffer by allowing too many laborers in. Each community will need to decide the selection process it enacts.

Prerequisites such as showing an understanding of rational thought and the existing rules of the community could be a requirement for entry.

Inter-community movement

If multiple Izara Communities begin to develop, agreements could be made where people transfer between them, both for exchange of knowledge and for people to have the freedom to choose which community is most suited to their values.
