Overview

Self governance is a core concept of Izara Communities and part of that concept are processes where the community can shape the rules under which it functions.

When starting a community it will need to have rules, its initial state, that can then be changed by the community according to it's voting methods, which in turn were initially implemented by the initial state.

Each community will have it's own way of creating the initial state, and at what stages of community development those starting rules can be changed, it could be decided democratically by the initial members, or by an initial leader who creates the community.

For a list of initial states see Initial states.
