Overview
Decisions of social importance should be decided by as many people as possible who are affected by that decision, this allows a population to self govern without the need for representatives or other people in positions of power to have unfair sway over the decisions.
Primarily this is achieved through the voting system and method of choosing what is voted on, however all aspects of society should consider methods of reducing concentrations of power such as issue resolution.
