Message definition (Humility and the Socratic method)
An acknowledgment that our understandings may by incorrect should not lead to indecision and inaction, rather it should encourage us to listen to contrary ideas, give the opportunity for alternative interpretations to be tested, and fall back on [[Special:MyLanguage/Truth seeking|rational thinking]] and the [[Special:MyLanguage/Scientific method|scientific method]] to guide decision making.
